Classes and Workshops
- Current member of the PSSA, Alicia Ponzio, will be offering ongoing classes in portrait sculpture as well as week-long workshops during the year:
Making the Connection between Drawing and Sculpture: January 23-27 2013
Sculptor and PSSA Member, Alicia Ponzio, will be collaborating with painter Justin Hess to present a workshop that combines sculpture and drawing to study the portrait in depth. It will take place at the Conservatory for Classical Art in Edmond, Oklahoma. During this 5 day course, students will work from life, drawing with charcoal in the morning. Working from the same model in the afternoon, they'll sculpt a portrait in water-based clay. Both instructors will work alongside students throughout.
Appropriate for all levels, this course will be a valuable study for both sculptors and painters.
